I didn't like this one as much as the first book. You see more into Chess's past and why she is the way she is. I admit it's hard for me to relate to Chess and her issues, which get worse in this book. Despite that, the mystery and plot are great and I love when I can say I never saw the truth. I love it when books surprise me and this one had several surprises. I'm glad that the third book is already out due to the cliff-hanger ending.
