The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that it was way too short! I got to the end and was like, uh that's it? It was a fun quick historical vampire novella. Written by the same author as the Scanguards vampires series. The main characters were very personable and it had a solid storyline. I'm looking forward to the next book. Hoping it's longer. LOL
